You can share a project or task with teams or single persons. To do so load your object in the Schedule Manager and open the inspector by clicking the
i symbol on the right side of the row.
In the Permissions section you're able to choose from a user and team list by clicking on the grant permission select box. All your already known contacts are listed in the first part of the list, all teams you're member of are listed in the second part.
Grant permission to your contacts and teams
Select an entry of the list by clicking, then choose a role in the select box right next to it. (Follow this link to read more about roles and access rights.) To grant the permission confirm your issue with a click on the
+ button. Then the granted permission will be listed beneath.
In the permissions list you also have the opportunity to remove a permission by clicking the small
x at the end of the entry.

Collaborate on a certain object by sharing a link
In RPLAN Connect every planning object has an individual link to share. To make sure your colleague can actually access the link and the respective object you first have to give him at least "read-permissions". You can do so in the object inspector.
Now, to show the link go on the
... button on the right end of the object's row and click on
Show link to object.
Users opening your shared link can not only see the planning object in the scheduler but also on the dashboard under the
Shared objects tab.
2in1: Give access while creating a team
Instead of sharing your project with a lot of single project participants it's useful to share it with the whole team. Sometimes you realize this advantage as recently as you're starting to share your project. In order to keep you on your actual doing, you have the opportunity to create a team directly while sharing your project.
Start as described above, but instead of choosing an existing team select the
+ Create new team option at the end of the list. Type the name in the input field and choose a role with associated access rights. By clicking the
+ button right next to it your new team will be successfully created.
That would be done! Next step is to invite project participants to your new team. Just copy the invitation link from the dialog to clipboard manually or with click on the button right next to it. You can share the link with people you'd like to work with. The invited person just has to click the link and after successfully signup to RPLAN he or she is member of the team, gets access to the team and all objects, which are shared with the team.
Another option to share the link is to open your local email client to immediately invite people via email. A click on the button with the email icon opens an email with the invitation link inside. You can add a message if you like and send it to several recipients.
Note: It doesn't matter if the invited persons are existing RPLAN users in your contacts or completely new to RPLAN - the invitation link works for both.
The team will be displayed with their granted role in the permission list. There you also have the opportunity to remove the permission by clicking the small
x at the end of the entry.
